The National Centers for Environmental Information maintains one of the most significant archives on Earth, with comprehensive oceanic, atmospheric, and geophysical data. Over 229 terabytes of data each month from over 130 observing platforms. Currently our rainfall data sources annual rainfall from over 66,000 weather stations and collection points. 

Understanding weather data is critical to various crop production and to understand of environmental change year over year.
