Past 10 years of annual rainfall by county in the United States. Farmlandstats.com is back with a new weather dashboard. Using the National Centers for Environmental Information's database housed within NOAA we were able to gather the past 10 years of rainfall data from 66,000 registered stations across the country.

What is the NCEI and NOAA?

NOAA is the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration within the United States Department of Commerce. The forecast weather and monitor oceans and the atmosphere.


NCEI is the National Centers for Environmental Information. NCEI is operated by the National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS), an office of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), which operates under the U.S. Department of Commerce.


What can I see on the Dashboard? HERE

You can now see the past 10 years of data for almost every county in the United States. Traditionally this is very hard to get and we feel like this is an incredible new tool which can give insight to farmland across the country.
